NCTU to NTU

We left the NSRRC Guest House this morning at 8:30. Some of our NCTU friends came to see us off. I feel very attached to this group, and I believe we have all become quite close friends in the five days we have spent together. They've made our stay in Hsinchu absolutely amazing with their happy, fun companionship. I'm so happy to know that this is not a final farewell because we will meet them again in Champaign when they come study for the spring semester!

We arrived in Tapei and dropped off our luggage at the Leader Hotel before going to visit NTU. We were given an introduction to EE at NTU and then toured the labs at NTU. Next, we had lunch with NTU undergraudates in EE. We were also given a presentation of some of the activities that they have including music and dancing. Afterwards, we took a look around an art gallery and we were also given a small tech demo. Then we were given a tour of the campus. We also happened to bump into a UIUC alumnus from a long, long time ago!

Today was the first day that dinner was not included in the schedule, and we were free to do as we liked. The night market is right across the street from the hotel, so finding food and something to do was not a problem.
