After 32 hours of travel, including an unexpected 4-hour delay in San Francisco, we have safely arrived in Hsinchu. A group of about 10 NCTU students greeted us at the airport in Taipei (complete with a welcome song!) before taking us on our bus to the guest house at NCTU where we are staying for the next couple of days. We are all safe and happy, albeit a bit tired. Our first day of touring around the area is today (Saturday) and we are looking forward to seeing the surrounding areas.
